The scene unfolds like a vivid dream, disrupting what we think we know is held in the depths of the ocean. The scattered remains of human exploration, represented by the scuba gear, sharply contrast with the strange, otherworldly mushrooms scattered throughout the submerged landscape. The viewer enters a world that is not known to human eyes and draws them to investigate the scene further. I used collage as my inspiration to explore the dark ocean fashion aesthetic I'm drawn to, then I began to stitch the pieces of this world together.
